Dept.
The project Dept.(2014) uses visual cues to convey a site-specific narrative; the loss of local industry as a direct result of globalisation. A series of photographs and a performance for video document the last stages of a process of dismantlement and its aftermath. The title Dept. comes from an abbreviation used on the door of the now defunct Manufacturing Department.
